Venetia Throw CAL - Introduction

It is time for the very first CAL (Crochet Along) hostessed by SA Yarnies. I am so very excited to bring and share the CAL to you.

I decided on the name Venetia for this throw because the CELTIC meaning is blessed. The SOUL URGE meaning is to work with others to achieve peace and harmony and the EXPRESSION meaning is to be orderly. People with the name Venetia value truth, justice and discipline and may be quick-tempered with those who do not - Ooops! They may also seem overly cautious and conservative at times.

The name Venetia just seemed and sounded right to me to name the throw. I have so much inner peace with the designing of the Venetia and I want you to join the first CAL with me. I plan the CAL to start on 1 May 2019. In the meantime you can join the Facebook group where all the support will be given when we start with the CAL.

The Venetia is nearly finished. In the meantime I share a squeak peak of 2 of the 3 colour ways that will be available soon to place kit orders. The size of the throw will be approximately 130cm x 130cm. As I said, I am still busy with the design.

The yarn I am using is MoYa Double Knit 100% cotton.
