Feliz Throw

Did you see the new MoYa CAL commencing 28 June 2019? It is called the Feliz throw. The Feliz throw is designed by Hester Bester, co-owner of MoYa. She designed it with the beautiful MoYa DK 100% cotton yarn. The size of the throw is 150cm x 130cm. Different size from the ordinary throw sizes. Maybe more of a blanket I would say?

I am always wondering what inspires Hester to design her throws. When she tells me she started a new design, I will ask her: What are you designing? Hester usually answers: I do not know. I will see as I go along and what it becomes. Then I will wonder: How on earth can you design if you do not know what you are designing? But let me tell you now: She definitely knows what she is doing. I think what happens is that she might not know what she is designing but very far and deep in her head (or brain?) she knows but did not discover it yet. After a few days, she sometimes shows me the progress of the "I do not know" design, and then I am ALWAYS surprised with the outcome of the "I do not know" design.

Kits are available and can be ordered from my online store. The kit content is 23 x 50g MoYa DK 100% cotton and there are 8 different colourways to choose from.
