You will ask me what on earth has horses and a river to do with crochet? But please read further.
How blessed am I to work from any place in the world. As long as I have my laptop, internet connection and of course my crochet work with me. Oh yes, and the beautiful view I have from my little stoop onto the Vaal River, Barrage, South Africa. I am really SO fortunate to have this in my life. It is on a farm, many birds around me, horses walking around, fishes plunging in the river water. It is my inspiration and where I find food for my soul.
I get so carried away with all of this..... I have to focus and come back to the purpose of my blog.
I watched the Patchwork Blanket lesson 4 yesterday and again, I am amazed. The video tutorials are so informative and if you did not watch the previous ones, you have to do it now. Lesson 1, lesson 2, lesson 3.
With lesson 4 Beatrix talks about how to do a Wrap per Inch (WPI), the different terms for different yarns, different hook sizes indications, etc. If you want to know more about it, go and watch the video on You Tube. Beatrix shares all her secrets with us about the WPI. If you have a lot of stash and do not know the weight of the yarn because the label disappeared, you can now find out with this video how to do it.
There is only one week left before the Patchwork Blanket TAL (Tunisian Along) starts (15 February 2019). If you want to know more about it, click here. And of course you can still order your Patchwork Blanket kit. There are 4 different options which you will find. Place your order now. There is a discount until 15 February 2019.
Beatrix and myself hope to see you all on the Facebook group. If you did not join us yet, click here to join.
Until next time
