What a nice and rainy wake-up I had this morning. I love it when I awake in the morning and it rains, soft raining sounds on the roof. When it is a cool day, like today, I am very productive and can move the WHOLE world then. Maybe it has to do with the mid-age thing with flushes and all the other terrible things happening with your body on this age. But nevertheless....
Only 3 days to go before we start the Patchwork Blanket TAL with Beatrix and myself. It starts on 15 February 2019.
Early this morning I watched the Patchwork Blanket Lesson 5 on You Tube. And again, I thought by myself, while watching the lesson, that we have so much to learn from Beatrix. And I want to take this opportunity to thank her for sharing her excellent knowledge, experience and skills with us when it comes to Tunisian crochet. Beatrix, you ROCK!

Lesson 5 is about how to do colour change successfully at the start of the forward pass and the return pass.
More learnings from Lesson 5:
Forward Pass
- Complete one row in the same colour &
- Create a stripe effect on the front
Return Pass
- Complete the return and forward pass in the same colour &
- Create a colour overlay with the front V-bars in one colour over the horizontal chains of the return pass of another colour.
Lesson 5 is the most essential lesson to watch because colour changes take place continuously with the Patchwork Blanket. And by the way, if you did not place your order for the kit yet, just click here. It is never too late to order your beautiful kit which is more than enough to finish your blanket. There are 4 different options.
For more information on the Patchwork Blanket TAL commencing 15 February 2019, you can click here. You are welcome to join the Facebook group.
I hope you will all enjoy the last video tutorial in preparation for Friday. Do not go anywhere as it was not the last video tutorial from Beatrix. There are more to come and I will keep you posted on it.
Until next time
